Average Price Range of Items Sold in Previous Shows:

Artwork sold in previous shows has ranged in price from $20 to $3,500.  FYI - artwork that is  that is $300 and below has sold more readily in the past.

When pricing paintings, the artist is asked to:

Offer discounted pricing (of your choosing) on 25% of shown work.  This lead-in pricing encourages new collectors.  (The remaining work should be current work at prices you choose.) The mix of pricing helps attract both new and continuing collectors to the show.

Here are some reasons to consider art for "studio clearance" pricing:

• unframed art
• last season's work
• testing a new style
• exposure in a new market or for an emerging artist
• practice work, studies
• demo or studies sale (art teachers/students)
• moving sale
• studio clearance
• student work

FYI - on on site framer will be available at the show for advice and framing orders.

Merchandising

Each artist is responsible for his/her own merchandising, display and set up.   Artwork may be leaned up against walls - but no artwork can be displayed on the  walls.  Some artists will have use of kitchen counter space, bathroom counters  and built-in cabinetry.
In the past, artists have brought display racks, easels,  special lighting and extention cords if desired (remember - we are open one evening), display bins for unframed art, card tables, business  cards and bios and such to best show-off their work.  It’s up to you.  Typically,  the better your area looks - the better the sales. Artists may want to consider having manual credit card capability for larger transactions.

Care must be taken during set-up and take-down to protect the walls and  wooden floors.  We will have rolls of foam paper to place underneath heavy  display pieces.

Number of Items Allowed Per Artist

Artists may bring as much artwork as will fill approx. 100 square feet of space.  Artists may replenish artwork throughout the show.

Traffic travels  through every room including the bathrooms, closets and the garage.
